The Social Animal

I feared that David Brook’s The Social Animal would be hapless over-simplification.  I was wrong – he’s a good introduction and a witty speaker.  There’s a danger of taking the material for control reasons we should not forget.

Most of us are not going to be surprised that  what we call consciousness is not really rational.  There’s nothing new in the book, but it’s a fair source.  The link above is to TED and works if your mark and right-click.
