If we really wanted to understand and prevent rape. we’d have a netter go at understanding sexuality and sub-cultures like drink and bonk and much worse. We don’t. Instead, we draw arbitrary lines like the age of consent (I agree with this, as we can only prevent through clear lines). The British problem is one of false morality and word-criming. This makes us all responsible for not really trying to do our best.
We’d need to start with false allegations, as we need to in other areas of law. We don’t.
