I should have known better! There was this smug bearded guy strumming and I thought some mixing software for my grandson might just be the ticket for the coming summer hols. Just a wire to plug in to the PC and he’d be up and running with the Guitar Rig 4 software. I set off without a concern other than about noise issues if he gets into it. Three days on and I’ve just got it working, after a new sound card and hours debugging Windows 7. New speakers too, though they were coming anyway.
Still, it’s all reminded me not to trust bearded guys!
