Down the pub, with the reservation we’d obviously listen to court evidence before a real verdict, twenty of us reach a guilty verdict on what we know now – all we couldn’t decide was on murder, manslaughter or GBH.
I see lawyers wanting to plead that Harwood cannot get a fair trial because the public has already seen enough to find him guilty. What an arse this makes of the DPP and his piss-poor service. The whole business shows none of the legal system gives a damn about victims, only making matters worse by pretending to, like a perverse rapist getting extra kicks saying the victim asked for it and enjoyed it.
